I believe that you came to the right place. Drop a line or two, tell me all about your fantastic idea and let’s work!

The Story About the Man Behind the Mouse

I was born in Sempeter, a small town located at the Northern shores of the Adriatic Sea. Living in this part of the Mediterranean Sea Area, I was hugely influenced by the picturesque nature surrounding me while growing up. Furthermore, growing up in the region soaked with style, creativity and art like this part of the world is, it was inevitable for me to attempt a move in this direction, I choose digital design. The likes of Leonardo DaVinci, Michelangelo and Caravaggio all the way to modern designers from Florence, Bologna and Milan, the knowledge was at the reach of my hand. I’m a keen admirer of car designers as well, as I’m a car enthusiast too. Analyzing and admiring the magic coming from studios and ateliers of companies like Pininfarina, Zagato, Touring Superlegiera, Pagani, Bertone and many others still plays a vital part of my professional progression.

THE INTERVIEW

What does Art mean to you?

Art, graphic design in my case, is a tool to put all my enthusiasm on paper, all my fantasies and passions became reality, at least a virtual one.

Which was the turning point in your life, when have you found out the meaning of art and what were your first steps into art?

I have always been fascinated by great looking stuff. From Leonardo DaVinci to Art Deco creations, my mind has repeatedly been intrigued by special forms until the day I found out about Italian Car Designers. Those lines elicit something deep in me. To shape, what is basically a tool in a way to become a piece of art, is simply magic.

Describe your work cycle, from concept to completion?

I am constantly in search of forms, movement, proportions, color patterns, it`s an easy task to get inspired. Sometimes a simple photo triggers a reaction, and I`m almost forced to draw something down as soon as I reach my computer. Then imagination kicks in….

Which are the techniques, material and tools you use?

I’m a big fan of open source software, that’s why I favor Inkscape instead of Illustrator, but have to use both of them. Basically, that is all I need.

Who are your art heroes, your teachers, masters?

I’m almost obsessed with Italian artists and designers from the past and present times. Starting with the Great Leonardo DaVinci all the way to modern car designers like Gandini, Pagani, Materazzi, guys who design beautiful forms and are always true to themselves.

What do you want to express with your creations?

Moments, movement of things, history, heroism… I like strong messages to be shown. My heroes come for the world of cars, sports, design, my messages are apolitical, always full of respect.
